Associate Cloud Security Engineer- AWS- Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.)

An early-career consultant in GuidePoint Security's Cloud Security (AWS) practice who works under senior consultants on client engagements. The associate helps run AWS security assessments to find misconfigurations and compliance gaps, writes up findings and remediation steps, contributes to roadmaps, gap analyses and architecture diagrams, helps configure IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub and Config, and joins client workshops.

GuidePoint wants about a year of hands-on AWS experience (labs and internships count), the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, a basic grasp of IAM and VPC security, some infrastructure as code and scripting, and clear communication. Travel is up to 10 percent.
