About the role
The senior cloud security engineer and subject-matter expert for a federal agency's on-premise, hybrid and cloud systems, working on Accenture Federal Services' Cyber Mission team. The role designs and maintains secure baselines in line with federal mandates, reviews and approves architecture designs, documents SOPs, diagrams and controls, runs log collection and continuous monitoring with an eye on noise and performance, advises government leaders on cloud cost, supports audits and change management, and trains colleagues.
The team wants seven years of systems, network or software engineering focused on cybersecurity, or five with a relevant degree, and a set of AWS certifications including Security Specialty, SysOps Administrator and Solutions Architect Associate. Based in Leesburg, VA.
