About the role
A cyber analyst in the Cyber Defense Branch supporting an Accenture Federal Services client at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, monitoring mission systems that span several classification levels. The analyst watches Splunk and other SIEM telemetry, triages and escalates alerts, hunts for compromise that automated detection misses, takes part in incident handling and root cause work, coordinates reporting with the ISSO Branch and ISSM, and supports Nessus/ACAS scanning, STIG checks and POA&M tracking within an agile team.
The team wants two years in a SOC, NOC or cyber defence analyst role, hands-on SIEM work, networking fundamentals and a current Security+. An active Top Secret clearance is required, and shift or on-call coverage is expected.
