Cyber Forensic Specialist

A digital forensics specialist on a DFIR team within Accenture Federal Services' IT Security group, supporting the Cyber Incident Response Team and running sensitive internal investigations with HR, Legal and Insider Threat colleagues. The specialist examines laptops, servers, mobile devices and logs to establish the cause and extent of incidents, advises on containment and recovery, executes litigation holds and eDiscovery collections with Legal, acts as the central intake point for evidence and chain of custody, and refines forensic playbooks using tools such as EnCase, FTK and Magnet Axiom.

The team wants US citizenship, three to five years in information security with three performing forensics on physical and cloud systems, plus log analysis, malware analysis and ESI handling experience. Based in Arlington, VA.
