About the role
A contract cybersecurity consultant on Avertium's Acceleration & Optimization team, advising clients on securing Microsoft cloud infrastructure and applications and leading architecture and integration projects.
The consultant helps clients shape security strategy, policies and roadmaps, designs and configures controls such as SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS and endpoint protection, reviews security architecture for new systems, and produces reports, diagrams and implementation plans. Five or more years in cybersecurity or Microsoft infrastructure administration is expected, with hands-on Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra and IAM skills; Purview, Intune, PAM, Defender and Sentinel are a plus. Remote in the US, as a contractor.
