About the role
Entry-level Cybersecurity Engineer joining Applied Intuition's security team after graduation to help build security into its vehicle platforms, with mentoring from senior engineers. The work includes contributing to security assessments of current and new products, supporting secure boot design for embedded devices, working with hardware engineers to integrate HSMs for encryption and key management, and helping teams across software, hardware, QA and product build security into development.
Applied is looking for a BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or similar, finishing by December 2026 or summer 2027, with coursework, internships or projects in security or embedded systems, a grounding in cryptography, and C, C++ or Python. Automotive networks, ISO/SAE 21434 and CTF experience are pluses. On site in Sunnyvale.
