Data Protection & Identity Manager
Extreme Networks · North Dakota, United States
About the role
Owns two security programmes at Extreme Networks: identity governance for human and non-human identities, including AI agents, and the company-wide data loss prevention programme. The role sits in IT and is listed as remote from North Dakota.
The aim is to bring every identity under control and enforce DLP policy so that Extreme's data, and the data its stakeholders entrust to it, is less exposed to credential theft, exfiltration and malicious activity. A central task is designing, rolling out and running a single identity governance and administration programme that spans employees, service accounts and AI agents, with particular attention to the fast-growing number of agent identities and to building governance structures and guardrails for them that follow established practice.
Extreme wants deep technical expertise, strong cross-functional working, and the leadership to build security programmes that scale in a quickly changing environment shaped by AI.
