Director, Identity and Access Management

Pathward  ·  Remote; USA

About the role

Leads identity and access management within Pathward's IT Security organisation, as part of a wider brief to plan and carry out the bank's information security strategy. The director brings technical and regulatory depth across IAM, application security, security governance, risk and compliance, and security assessments, and supervises a team, including hiring, training, setting goals and reviewing performance.

The work centres on running information security risk assessments and weighing the controls available, setting security policy, and making sure change control and system and software testing procedures are followed. The director steers the security side of business initiatives, including the identity and access, third-party vendor and GRC programs, with particular attention to the risk of outside parties handling Pathward's information or delivering services to it. The role also trains and oversees partners that receive sensitive data, acts as an internal security adviser, recommends products and services to close gaps, and supports compliance with GLBA, PCI and SOX along with the bank's other regulatory obligations.

Pathward asks for a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and typically eight or more years in the field. The role is remote within the United States.
