Embedded Security Engineer

Embedded Security Engineer at Applied Intuition who improves the embedded security architecture of its vehicle platform and leads implementation across several platforms. The engineer assesses and guides security for current and new products, leads the setup and upkeep of secure boot so firmware and software are verified at start-up, works with hardware engineers to integrate hardware security modules for encryption, key management and cryptographic operations, and helps software, hardware, QA and product teams build security into the development lifecycle.

Applied wants five or more years in product security or cybersecurity engineering, expertise in secure boot, HSM integration and BSP maintenance, strong cryptography knowledge, C, C++ or Python, and familiarity with FIPS 140-2 or Common Criteria. Automotive ECUs, in-vehicle networks and ISO/SAE 21434 experience help. On site in Sunnyvale.
