Incident Manager - Detection & Response

Senior technical program manager who owns incident management for Anthropic's Detection & Response team, covering how security and operational incidents are detected, handled and learned from. The role runs the full lifecycle program, from detection workflows, escalation and communication standards to remediation tracking, acts as incident commander for security incidents, and sets up commander rotations within D&R. Much of the value comes after the response: analysing incident trends and root causes, turning them into cross-team fixes with engineering, infrastructure and product, running post-mortems, keeping playbooks current, improving alert fidelity with detection engineering, tracking KPIs and running tabletop exercises.

Anthropic wants seven or more years in technical program management, incident management or security operations, much of it in detection and response, experience building incident response programs, and willingness to join on-call and lead off-hours response.
