About the role
A senior incident response analyst who handles the most complex cases for the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) that Accenture Federal Services supports at a federal agency, and acts as incident commander when the CIRT Lead is away. The analyst works incidents from start to finish with the agency's tools, establishes root cause, directs memory, file system and network log analysis on priority events, supplies defensible evidence to security investigators, leads after-action reviews that feed playbook changes, and reviews and mentors junior analysts.
The team wants US citizenship, ten or more years of experience including at least five responding to security incidents, and bachelor's and master's degrees. Based in Leesburg, VA.
