Information Security Engineer

Information Security Engineer at Edmentum, protecting student data and the education platforms behind it across security operations and compliance. The role is based in Bloomington, Minnesota, with the Minneapolis area preferred.

The engineer monitors production for security events and joins incident response, runs vulnerability assessments and drives fixes, helps keep the company audit-ready under SOC 2, NIST, FERPA, COPPA and GDPR, evaluates and runs security tools including AI-based ones, works with development, systems and network teams, and improves change management and security metrics. The company wants three to five years securing enterprise infrastructure, ideally SaaS, hands-on vulnerability management, working knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 and privacy rules, and progress toward CISSP or CISA.
