About the role
An Information System Security Engineer supporting an Accenture Federal Services client in Colorado Springs, reviewing Risk Management Framework authorisation packages for classified systems, including system security plans, control traceability matrices, continuous monitoring and incident response plans. The engineer checks systems old and new against IA directives for protecting data up to and including SCI, advises on security design reviews and threat and risk assessments, contributes to POA&Ms and risk assessment reports, and visits sites to inspect control implementations and support incident response.
The team wants four years each of NIST 800-53 or RMF work, Windows or Linux, and virtualisation or cloud, plus Splunk experience, DoD 8140 certification and a TS/SCI clearance. The schedule is hybrid.
