About the role
An Information System Security Officer supporting secure Defense Department cloud systems for Accenture Federal Services at Hill Air Force Base, assisting the ISSM in protecting classified systems and standing in for the ISSM when needed. The ISSO maintains the posture the ATO requires through continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessment and POA&M updates, keeps RMF and JSIG documentation and bodies of evidence current, verifies user clearances before access, reviews audit records, runs STIG checks with SCAP and Evaluate-STIG, coordinates system changes with the ISSM and authorising officials, and takes part in incident handling.
The team wants three years as an ISSO or similar, hands-on Splunk, Nessus/ACAS and eMASS experience, Security+ or another IAT Level II certification, and an active Top Secret clearance.
