IT Security Engineer, Space

Engineer responsible for the classified infrastructure behind Anduril's Space team in Costa Mesa, covering everything from locked-down operating systems and compliance scans to VMware virtualization and enterprise services. Work includes holding Windows and Red Hat servers to hardened baselines, validating STIG compliance with SCAP, SCC and manual checks, remediating vulnerabilities flagged in ISSO scans, administering Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and patch repositories, and writing Ansible playbooks and scripts to keep configuration consistent. The engineer also handles backup and recovery, hands environments over to steady-state operations once they reach ATO, and gathers evidence for security assessments.

Candidates need hands-on hardening of Windows Server and RHEL in classified environments, vSphere experience and scripting skills, and must be able to obtain and keep a U.S. Secret clearance.
