Junior Security Engineer

Joins 1Password's Application Security team, which runs the company's secure development lifecycle along with design reviews, threat modelling, supply chain security and automated security tooling. This junior engineer concentrates on building and maintaining that tooling, including static and dynamic analysis, code scanning and newer agentic AI capabilities that support secure development, and on dashboards and metrics that report the security risk program to technical and non-technical audiences.

The team is looking for up to about two years of software development, real interest in security engineering, and demonstrated use of agentic AI to automate or speed up security work. Rust or Go, secure code review and OWASP Top 10 knowledge are pluses. Remote in the US or Canada.
