About the role
Lead Senior Security Engineer at Evolver, the senior security leader for an AI platform that automates finance, tax, audit, risk and compliance work for Fortune 1000 companies. The role reports to the CTO and co-founder and is based in Palo Alto on a hybrid model.
Hands-on, the engineer owns security architecture spanning identity, data protection, cloud infrastructure, application security, tenant isolation and auditability; designs secure deployment patterns for hosted and customer-controlled environments with SSO, RBAC, customer-specific encryption, key management and private networking; builds security into CI/CD, infrastructure as code, secrets handling and incident response; secures GenAI workflows; and leads customer security reviews and SOC 2 and ISO 27001 work. Evolver wants eight or more years in security architecture and engineering, deep cloud security (preferably Azure) and strong identity and AppSec skills.
