Managing Principal, Cybersecurity and AI

A senior leader in Capco's Cybersecurity practice in New York, helping grow the practice as it scales and building and leading its Cyber + AI offering for financial services clients. The role combines practice leadership, delivery and team development with responsibility for winning new work.

The managing principal sets a strategy for cybersecurity and AI services that matches what the market wants, and builds the accelerators, playbooks and reference architectures behind it. They run demanding client engagements in cybersecurity and AI-driven security from start to finish, act as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders, and develop and grow a capable consulting team. Business development is a significant part of the job, including building the pipeline, writing proposals and closing deals.

Capco wants at least twelve years across cybersecurity or technology risk, a consulting background, a strong record of delivering large security programs, and hands-on exposure to securing AI, governing generative AI or using AI in security operations. Knowledge of NIST, ISO or FFIEC, experience in cloud security, IAM or resilience, and certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC are pluses. The role requires being in the New York City office three days a week.
