About the role
Secures the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Google Cloud environments that Accenture Federal Services runs for a Department of Veterans Affairs programme, setting one security posture across both providers. The engineer defines guardrails and baseline controls, manages identity federation and least-privilege IAM, configures centralised monitoring such as Security Command Center and feeds alerts into enterprise systems, finds and fixes vulnerabilities and policy drift, keeps deployments in line with FedRAMP High, FISMA, NIST 800-53 and VA requirements, and advises the OCI migration, GCP foundations and data and AI teams in design reviews and threat modelling.
The team wants five or more years in cloud security, security architecture or compliance, including three leading technical teams, plus multi-cloud monitoring and vulnerability scanning experience. Based in Washington, DC.
