Oracle Security Manager

Accenture Federal Services  ·  Washington, DC

About the role

Runs the security team for a large Oracle enterprise environment within Accenture Federal Services' Oracle Technology Architecture practice, owning the cybersecurity strategy across the application lifecycle with a particular focus on Oracle application security and getting the system its Authority to Operate.

Much of the job centres on role-based access in Oracle Fusion Cloud: designing, deploying and maintaining job roles, data roles and security policies, and keeping them true to least privilege and separation of duties as the system changes. The manager applies risk frameworks such as NIST 800-53 and OMB A-123, builds and monitors audit controls over system access, studies each quarterly Oracle release for security impact and leads the resulting test plans, and works with functional, development and architecture teams to read technical designs, spot weaknesses and recommend fixes. The role also sets secure design patterns for the project, keeps improving the environment's defences, and coaches junior staff across Oracle application security, ATO and compliance work, including Risk Management Cloud.

The team wants advanced, hands-on knowledge of Oracle Fusion Applications security and OCI Identity and Access Management, a record of leading cross-functional security efforts in complex environments, and a solid grounding in security frameworks, secure architecture and cloud governance. Prior ATO work, policy writing, incident response and audit preparation are pluses, as is familiarity with federal standards. Candidates must be US persons; the role is based in Washington, DC.
