Principal Engineer, DevSecOps

Technical lead for Allegiant's DevSecOps program, reporting to the Senior Manager of Information Security Engineering and leading two mid-level engineers. The principal engineer owns the roadmap and tooling that secure code, Terraform infrastructure and multi-account AWS workloads on their way through GitHub Actions: GitHub Advanced Security, custom Checkov policies, a CNAPP such as Prisma or Cortex Cloud, and feeds into SIEM and SOAR. The role also sets rules for agentic AI tooling, including MCP servers and AI gateways, and supplies compliance evidence for PCI-DSS, NIST and CIS.

Allegiant wants eight or more years in information security, production experience across AppSec, pipeline engineering, cloud security and IaC governance, proof of tooling that developers adopted, and public work on AI security. On site in Las Vegas or St. Paul.
