Principal Network Security Engineer

Runs and secures Alarm.com's Cisco-based network infrastructure across on-premise and hybrid cloud environments, within the Cloud Operations & IT group. The engineer administers firewalls, identity and network analytics platforms, handles upgrades and patching, enforces segmentation and network access control, manages secure remote access, tunes perimeter and detection tools, supports WAF, DDoS and application delivery security, monitors network telemetry, investigates incidents, remediates vulnerabilities, automates repeatable tasks and mentors junior staff.

Alarm.com wants a relevant degree, at least seven years of enterprise networking and security with substantial hands-on Cisco work, and strong firewall, IDS/IPS, NAC and VPN skills; CCNP Security or CISSP is strongly preferred. Based in Tysons, VA.
