About the role
The principal product manager for Cloudflare's new public certificate authority, an ACME-first, automated and transparent CA intended to give the internet another trusted source of TLS certificates. The role is based in Austin or London.
The PM sets strategy, roadmap, customer experience and commercial model across issuance, renewal, revocation, Certificate Transparency and integrations, works with engineering on HSMs and key protection, and with compliance and legal on CA/Browser Forum and WebTrust obligations, while owning pricing and launch. Cloudflare wants ten or more years of product management on technical products where trust and correctness matter, working PKI knowledge covering X.509, ACME, revocation and mTLS, and strong business judgement. Post-quantum and Merkle Tree Certificate familiarity is a plus.
