Principal Product Manager, Security

Shapes security product strategy across 1Password as the link between Security Engineering and the feature teams building customer-facing products. The principal PM owns a separate roadmap for platform-level security work, including key management and recovery, authentication, the cryptography behind the zero-knowledge design and post-quantum readiness, and defines how the company handles agent access to credentials and secrets for non-human identities. The role also weighs risk against usability using telemetry, coaches other PMs, and represents 1Password to researchers and the bug bounty community.

The team wants ten or more years of product management with substantial time on security-critical SaaS products, or a security engineer or researcher turned PM, with deep knowledge of cryptography, authentication, IAM, passkeys and threat modelling. Remote in the US or Canada.
