Principal Software Security Architect

A principal-level architect in BeyondTrust's Office of the CTO who is accountable for the security design of the product lines given to them, spanning endpoint agents, thick clients, SaaS, APIs, identity and cloud-native services, building security in from the start.

The architect leads threat modelling, attack surface analysis and design reviews, uses Claude and other LLM platforms to scale that work through prompts, skills and agent workflows, contributes reference architectures and guardrails, maintains the Product Security handbook and mentors engineers and Security Champions. BeyondTrust wants ten or more years in software engineering, security architecture or product security, hands-on coding credibility, deep threat modelling experience and practical use of LLMs in security work. Remote in the US or Canada.
