Security Operations AI Engineer, Contract

A contract engineer on a client's security operations and engineering team who concentrates on protecting AI and machine learning systems. The work covers incident response for AI-related events, writing detection logic and playbooks for threats such as prompt injection, model poisoning, data theft and adversarial inputs, keeping security tooling healthy, and setting up telemetry and logging for AI workloads. The engineer also reviews new AI tools before they reach production, tests model robustness and privacy protections, follows AI threat research and contributes to AI governance policies and standards. The role requires round-the-clock availability for critical incidents. Remote in the United States.
