Security Software Engineer, Detection & Response Platform

Software engineer on Anthropic's Detection Platform team, building the security analytics infrastructure behind detection and response. The engineer works on an AI-powered platform covering everything from detection development to incident response, designs pipelines that ingest and process security telemetry at large scale, architects storage and fast querying for that data, prototypes new security tooling and analytics, partners with security and infrastructure teams on requirements, mentors engineers, helps with hiring and joins on-call shifts.

The team wants seven or more years of software engineering focused on security, infrastructure or data pipelines, a record of building internal security platforms, large-scale logging experience, Terraform or CloudFormation, cloud and serverless services, and solid Python. SIEM, EDR, SOAR and detection engineering background, and applying ML to security, are pluses.
