About the role
Keeps a data platform and its tools secure and compliant as a senior data security engineer in Accenture Federal Services' Enterprise Data Solutions practice. The engineer designs data security controls, runs risk assessments on data systems, writes classification and handling procedures, manages access and permissions for data tools with the data governance team, watches for unauthorised access and responds to incidents, implements encryption at rest and in transit and data loss prevention, reviews integrations and data-sharing arrangements, and delivers awareness training and audit support.
The team wants eight years of securing data platforms in large environments, an advanced degree or a credential such as CISSP-ISSEP, DoD 8140 compliance and an active Secret clearance or higher depending on the position. Based in Arlington, VA.
