About the role
A hands-on senior security engineer in Chartis IT Security, focused on identity and DevSecOps for the firm's cloud-native and AI-driven engineering teams. It is an engineering role, not a review or audit post.
The engineer helps teams design secure architectures, builds security controls into CI/CD pipelines and platform tooling, owns the process for onboarding applications and integrating them with identity, and turns requirements into automated controls. Chartis wants five to eight or more years of security engineering centred on IAM and DevSecOps, hands-on Okta administration including Identity Governance and Workflows, strong Azure skills plus some AWS and GCP, Kubernetes access controls, Splunk detections, OAuth2, OIDC and SAML, Python, and threat modelling. Okta certification is a plus. Remote.
