Senior Enterprise Security Engineer

Senior engineer on Faire's enterprise security team, protecting the corporate environment across endpoints, network, identity and SaaS and putting much of the company's AI governance into practice. Based in San Francisco.

The engineer helps run the AI governance programme, covering acceptable use, protecting data sent to AI tools, risk reviews of AI vendors and models, and safe patterns for agents and MCP integrations; hardens endpoint management, identity services and networking with IT; designs data protection controls; supports EDR, email security and phishing awareness; and writes runbooks and training. Faire wants five or more years of hands-on enterprise security across at least two areas such as endpoint, network, data security or SecOps, exposure to AI governance, audit support for ISO 27001, SOX or SOC 2, and coding in Python, Ruby or Go.
