About the role
A senior Information Systems Security Engineer in Accenture Federal Services' Secure Digital Core practice and the security specialist for containerised workloads, service mesh and microservices on a classified programme. The engineer designs and runs controls such as image scanning, runtime protection, RBAC, segmentation and encryption, builds security into CI/CD to meet RMF, NIST 800-53, ICD 503 and FedRAMP, tunes logging and monitoring with tools such as Prisma Cloud and Splunk, investigates alerts and incidents, assesses orchestration platforms and APIs for weaknesses, and maintains incident response plans and control documentation.
The team wants a relevant degree, seven or more years of security control engineering and continuous monitoring, hands-on Kubernetes security (OpenShift preferred), IL5 to IL6 experience and an active TS/SCI with polygraph. Based in Reston, VA.
