Senior Manager, Cloud Engineering Governance - FedRAMP

Delinea  ·  U.S. Remote

About the role

Manages Delinea's cloud governance team, a small group of cloud engineers who govern and secure the company's multi-cloud, multi-tenant estate, including its FedRAMP environment. The manager runs the team day to day so the Director can concentrate on strategy and stakeholders. The role is remote in the US.

People management covers hiring, coaching, performance reviews and career growth, along with stand-ups, planning and backlog work that turns the Director's initiatives into scoped tasks, and weekly status reports for leadership. On the technical side, the manager builds and enforces governance policy across Azure, AWS and SaaS platforms: RBAC, tagging and naming standards, guardrails written as policy-as-code with Azure Policy, AWS SCPs, Cloud Custodian and Terraform, and break-glass and just-in-time privilege workflows. The role oversees several Microsoft Entra tenants, including cross-tenant sync, identity lifecycle and SAML or OIDC sign-in for SaaS and cloud providers, and runs YubiKey provisioning and phishing-resistant authentication for FedRAMP. Security assessments, root cause analysis on governance incidents, audit evidence, cloud cost reporting, and provider contracts and billing also fall to the role, plus hands-on Terraform, PowerShell or Python when needed.

Delinea wants seven or more years in cloud engineering, operations or governance on Azure and AWS, three or more managing technical teams, expert Entra knowledge including Conditional Access and PIM, and experience with policy and cost tooling. FedRAMP, NIST 800-53 and GCC High experience is a plus. Candidates must not need visa sponsorship.
