Senior Manager, Identity & Access Management - NY

Leads identity and access management for Atlas Air from the White Plains, New York office, heading a small group of employees and outside resources responsible for IAM architecture, engineering, administration and governance. The team works around the clock across several regions and extends identity controls to vendors and other third parties as well as company assets.

The senior manager owns IAM end to end, including provisioning, SSO, directories, certificates, MFA, privileged accounts, automation and behavioural analytics tools. Responsibilities include building a strategy for access controls that scale and are tracked with KPIs, steering technical teams so implementations follow access policy, supervising regular access reviews and recertification, and maintaining documentation and procedures. The manager partners with internal and external auditors on compliance and privacy, acts as a primary contact for disaster recovery and business continuity, and manages the team's hiring, development and performance.

The company is looking for seven to ten or more years in cybersecurity or IT, including at least five in IAM, and a strong technical record in identity design and delivery across large heterogeneous environments. Required knowledge covers SSO, MFA, Active Directory, PKI, privileged accounts and API integration, plus experience managing people. SOX, AWS or Azure and NIST experience are preferred; CISSP, CISM or GIAC and the ability to obtain a clearance are desirable but not required.
