Senior Product Security Engineer

A senior engineer and technical leader on CLEAR's Product Security team, the identity verification company, steering how application security develops across all of its products and engineering teams. The role is on-site in New York.

The engineer sets application security strategy with engineering leaders, guides architecture and design, builds automated security testing into CI/CD, leads threat modelling and architecture reviews of high-value systems, advises engineering, DevOps, product, GRC and IT, supports customers on fraud and identity work, and mentors the AppSec team. CLEAR wants five or more years in application security or software engineering, deep secure design and offensive skills such as pen testing and exploit development, web, mobile, API and cloud knowledge, coding in several languages, and tools such as Burp Suite, Frida or Snyk.
