Senior Security Researcher

An offensive security researcher on Censys's ARC research team, bringing a red teamer's view of how attackers operate to the company's internet-wide scanning, fingerprinting and attack surface data, and publishing original research.

The researcher spots gaps in detection logic and protocol coverage, studies exploitation trends, C2 infrastructure and adversary tradecraft, turns findings into new scan modules and risk indicators with engineering, leads research into agentic AI attack tools, and presents at events such as DEF CON and Black Hat. Censys wants five or more years of penetration testing, red teaming or adversary emulation, hands-on experience building or running LLM-powered offensive agents, Python or Go skills and C2 tradecraft knowledge.
