Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Product Security

Anduril Industries  ·  Irvine, California, United States

About the role

Owns product security for Anduril's Sentry Tower platform, robotic towers that watch secure perimeters on land or sea and may themselves be physically exposed to adversaries. The engineer is responsible for the trusted boot chain on several generations of NVIDIA Jetson hardware: signed firmware and bootloaders, UEFI Secure Boot, signed kernels, encrypted root filesystems, and HSM-backed signing keys with separate development and production roots. The role also sets runtime hardening for network exposure, privileges and physical ports, manages CVEs and patching for a fielded fleet nearing vendor end-of-life, and acts as the team's liaison with the product security organisation.

The posting asks for four or more years of security-focused Linux or embedded engineering, hands-on secure boot work, practical PKI and HSM experience, deep Linux internals, and C or Rust. U.S. person status and an active or reinstatable Secret clearance are required. Based in Irvine, California.
