Senior Software Engineer, Zero Trust Client

A senior Windows engineer on Cloudflare's Zero Trust team, building the desktop client that protects corporate devices by routing their traffic securely and privately through Cloudflare's network, where web filtering and Zero Trust policies are applied. The role is based in Austin or Seattle.

The engineer writes high-performance networking code mainly in Rust alongside platform-native languages and APIs, improves code quality and test foundations, owns designs for major features and works with product managers on customer-facing work, touching Swift, C#, C and Python along the way. Cloudflare wants deep knowledge of Windows internals and kernel-mode programming, ideally network driver experience, strong Rust, C or C++, asynchronous multithreaded code, network debugging skills, and an understanding of VPNs and security protocols.
