About the role
Senior Vulnerability Engineer with Anduril Cyber, focused on original discovery of flaws in hardware and software. Targets include firmware, embedded systems, applications, protocols, update paths, device interfaces and the seams between hardware and software. The engineer plans and runs research that mixes code review, reverse engineering, fuzzing, emulation, instrumentation and hardware analysis, builds custom fuzzers, harnesses and proof-of-concept tools, analyses root cause, exploitability and impact, and writes reports that let engineering teams fix what is found.
The team wants a strong record of finding vulnerabilities in embedded, firmware or network targets, Python, C, C++, Rust or Go, fuzzing and crash triage, and a firm grasp of memory corruption, logic and trust-boundary bugs. Clearance eligibility is required. Based in Boston, Costa Mesa or Washington, DC.
