Staff Product Security Engineer

A staff product security engineer on Airwallex's Information Security team, reporting to the Product Security Engineering Manager. The engineer creates security controls that let the company scale safely, builds security into new and existing applications and services, develops detection strategies and response workflows, analyses endpoint, network and cloud telemetry, contains and investigates incidents, finds vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, gathers threat intelligence and forensic evidence, runs threat hunts and maintains security infrastructure.

Airwallex wants eight or more years of security engineering or incident response at a tech company, deep expertise in a major cloud platform, solid CI/CD knowledge and a thorough grasp of attacker techniques; OSCP or GIAC, Splunk, Kubernetes and Python or Kotlin experience are pluses. Based in San Francisco, with Sydney or Melbourne also possible.
