About the role
A staff security engineer at Beyond Finance who works with product and engineering teams from the start of their projects to build security into architecture and process, and whom the security team can bring into any project regardless of domain.
The work ranges across secure design and code review for web and mobile apps, AppSec tooling, AWS posture with CNAPP tools, vulnerability management, Python automation, log pipelines, SIEM detections, endpoint controls and CI/CD security checks. The company wants eight or more years of hands-on security engineering with real depth in one of application security, cloud security or security automation and working knowledge of the other two, plus threat modelling. Terraform, offensive security, mobile security and financial services experience are pluses.
