Staff Security Engineer (Blue Team)

Acts as technical lead for Olo's Blue Team, the security engineers and analysts who hunt for, detect and respond to threats against the company's restaurant ordering platform. The role reports to the Security Engineering Director and mentors the team.

It oversees the information protection program (security tooling, awareness, vulnerability management, threat hunting and design reviews), incident detection and response through every phase, and security services such as vendor assessments and PCI and SOC audit support, with a place on the 24/7 on-call rotation. Olo wants five or more years in security engineering, operations or architecture, experience leading remote engineers, PCI-DSS exposure, and hardening skills across Windows, macOS, Kubernetes and AWS; CISSP or GCIH is preferred. Remote in the US or at the New York headquarters.
