Staff Security Engineer - Data Security

A staff security engineer at Aledade who leads strategy and engineering for data security, protecting sensitive health and personal data across the company's cloud-native environment. The engineer shapes and delivers security strategy and controls, sets standards for security processes that support engineering quality, works across disciplines on security services, and mentors newer engineers. The domain centres on data security posture management: discovering and classifying sensitive data across Postgres, Snowflake, Databricks and S3, embedding controls into data pipelines, and using tokenisation and encryption for data at rest.

Aledade wants a relevant degree, eight or more years of software or security engineering in cloud-native environments, Python and regex skills and an understanding of HIPAA; hands-on DSPM tools such as Wiz, BigID or Cyera are preferred.
