Staff Security Engineer - SecOps & Threats

A senior engineer on 6sense's Security Operations and Threat Management team, which works to prevent, detect, investigate and respond to threats against the company. The engineer handles complex incidents such as intrusions, compromised systems and denial-of-service attacks, performs forensics and root cause analysis with infrastructure, IT, cloud and AppSec colleagues, researches new threats and pushes mitigations into products, and plans and runs threat exercises. Building automation and security tooling is a large part of the job, alongside mentoring, runbooks, dashboards and on-call duty.

6sense wants five or more years in a security operations team, three of developing automation and two of adversary emulation, with SIEM, SOAR, scanner and AWS experience. Remote in the US.
