Staff Software Engineer, Security

Staff-level security engineer for the Tactical Recon and Strike group at Anduril, the team taking small unmanned aircraft like Ghost, Anvil, Bolt and Altius from concept to fielded systems. Responsibilities include setting and maturing the security roadmap for TRS products and services, building security software that runs on embedded hardware, reviewing architectures, countering exploits against hardware and software, and partnering with engineers to remediate flaws found in designs, integrations and processes.

The team is looking for a software engineer specialising in platform security who programs in C/C++, Rust or Python, has assessed and hardened firmware, network or embedded systems, ships production Linux or embedded code, and understands anti-tamper and reverse engineering. Candidates must be eligible for a Top Secret clearance. Based in Costa Mesa or Seattle; relocation is available.
