Staff Systems Security Engineer, Programs

Staff-level systems security engineer at Anduril responsible for designing security into products and their integrations across programs, covering AI, command and control, aerospace and sensing systems. It is an engineering role rather than ISSO or ISSM work. The engineer takes assigned products from security requirements, drawn from customer needs and threat intelligence, through architecture, implementation, layered testing and milestone reviews, explains security approaches to government customers and program leadership, and coordinates threat modelling, validation and assessment with security and engineering teams.

The posting looks for about twelve or more years of experience, a record of resolving high-stakes security engineering problems across several programs, embedded hardware and FPGA security knowledge, and defense or national security systems experience. An active Secret clearance with SAP eligibility, and eligibility for Top Secret, are required. Based in Costa Mesa.
