Systems Engineer - Data Security

About the role
Builds and maintains Cloudflare's Data Security products, which show customers where their cloud and SaaS applications are exposed and how their network traffic and product use are trending. The engineer adds features to the team's APIs and distributed services and keeps them quick and dependable while they take in millions of data points a day. The stack is mainly Go, Python and TypeScript running on Kubernetes, Cloudflare Workers and the big public clouds, with Postgres, Redis and Kafka underneath.
The team wants three or more years building dependable software systems at scale, strong debugging and tuning skills, and genuine interest in security. Frontend TypeScript, third-party API integrations and earlier work on security products are pluses. The role is based in Austin.
